This is always cool. I like seeing things you never see in Illinois. As of yet, I have not found snow on July 6th at home. However, here at Crater Lake is one of the places I found it. This is one of the things the kids like about my trips away from the standard road ways. We look for snow in July and August.
In the past we have hiked to the snow line in the Tetons. We have driven through a snow storm in Rocky Mountain NP. We found snow at the continental divide near Leadville, CO.
